These books are part of the very few things that have real sentimental value to me… They’re almost 40 years old, published in 1974 costing just 75p each. Part of me wishes they were in better condition but they’re this battered because of how much I’ve read them over the years. People of this generation are always talking about how Harry Potter “made their childhhood” well, Lord of the Rings made mine :) ♥
“But our house gets cold when you cut the heating, without you to hold i’ll be freezing”
“It’s too cold outside, for angels to fly.”
“And it’s dark in a cold December, but I’ve got you to keep me warm”
“And your eyes turn from green to grey, in the winter I’ll hold you in a cold place.”
“I was made to keep your body warm, but I’m cold as the wind blows so hold me in your arms”
“Warm me up, with your lips, heart to heart, melt me down, it’s too cold, in this town”
“When I feel cold you keep me warm, and I’m not looking for some loose change.”
“I can see the stars as a cold wind greets the air and will you think of me up there.”
ED SHEERAN, Y U SO COLD?!
